Located within a 30-acre land parcel, the 625,000ft2 factory complex at Delta Park in Peterborough will serve as the catalyst for transformative change in the beverage packaging industry. This prime location was previously occupied by a pet food producer, MARS Petcare, until its demolition in 2014. UK-based commercial developer Trebor Developments, together with their partner Hillwood, acquired the site in 2020. Crown Holdings subsequently purchased the designated area from Trebor Developments for over £150 million in March 2022.

By 2023, the company aims to add 25 billion units of beverage can capacity globally, responding to the escalating demand for beverage cans worldwide. In line with this objective, Crown Holdings is currently constructing new plants in Virginia and Nevada, USA, as well as Uberaba, Brazil. Furthermore, existing facilities in Cambodia, Spain, and Italy will undergo expansion to solidify the company’s market position.
